Maryhill Winery, Maryhill, WAWeb Stie - Chanced upon this winery while travelling between fishing destinations. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was a real treat. Live music, great patio overlooking the Columbia River, wine tasting, just a great way to relax during a day of driving. They are open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas 9-6. During the summer months they have live music on the patio every Sunday 1-4. They are located high on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River and th atomsphere is great. They have deli sandwiches to sell or you can bring your own lunch and snacks for the aptio. Teh tasting room is very upscale and they have a wide range of wines, both read and white. I especially liked their Winemaker blends, both red and white. Located in esatern Washington, close to I-84 if yor driving across Oregon, its only a short detour, cross over at the Dalles. It well worth the detour.
